You’ve gone to ground, my little seed,
Tucked beneath the turning leaves.
The silence sits where you once played,
Yet love still lives in memories made.
Your eyes would search where she might be,
A little paw, a whine, a plea.
Cradled in your loving snug,
Rest now boy, with warmth and love.
In my mind you wander free,
On clouds that rise where earth should be.
But when I meet my journeys end,
I’ll wrap you in my arms again.
For now, goodbye sweet boy.
Such an emotional read, for what looks to be such a cute dog. 🕊️

Love a good piece of writing ✍️ and this was beautifully written. Sorry for your loss, I can tell even by a few words said that you most likely gave him the best life. I’m sure you meant to him as much as he meant to you. Hope time helps close the wound, and heal some of the pain. Take care. 😌🙏
